Matlock Bath | Cromford - Farrow & Ball Painting | Refurb

In this impressive old stone building opposite the historic Sir Richard Arkwright's Masson Mills in Matlock Bath was a room taken on after it became clear to the last painter that they had underestimated the task and they failed to return after the first day. A very large & tall room with holes in the wall and ceiling that needed filling & skimming, poorly installed skirting that required realignment and filling all around.

A lot of the time , the work taken on by AJP Pro Painting & Restoration are previously poorly painted rooms, ones with troublesome substrates, issues with reoccurring flakey, loose paint & render. Usually a solution is found through using the right products in the correct sequence to give a sound platform in which to paint on and using the right paints for the platform and environment to give a lasting finish.

Farrow and Ball's aubergine emulsion paint was used in this impressive room along with Dulux Trade Ultra Matt ceiling paint. The windows were refurbished and painted with Little Greene Intelligent Eggshell. The skirting has been stained to give a beautiful and elegant finish. The customer was thankful firstly that I came back the second day and secondly with the end result which led to a number of other rooms being done on his property.
